What is an in-kind cybersecurity grant?

An in-kind grant is a service, not a payment to you. An approved provider does the work, such as a CMMC gap assessment, and you do not pay for it.

Who runs these grants?

Cyber Grants Alliance (CGA), a nonprofit, runs the programs with sponsor partners such as Capital Cyber Compliance, Telco United and CyberCert. You apply on the CGA website.

Which grant is right for a defense contractor?

A defense contractor that handles Federal Contract Information looks at the CMMC Level 1 gap assessment grant. One that handles Controlled Unclassified Information looks at the Level 2 gap assessment grant. Apply once and CGA matches you to the program that fits.

Need more than the grant covers?
